Warranty Information

Service and Maintenance Recommendations
The following items need to be attended on a regular basis. More frequent service in severe off-road conditions.
- Ensuring mounting bolts always remain tight
- Check regularly that screws holding windows and doors are tight
- Lubricate lock and key recess on rear door with a dry graphite lubricant
- Abrasive compounds are not recommended for polishing surfaces of painted products: use only wax polish if required.
- Clean door rubbers on canopy tailgate assembly and lightly coat with silicon spray.
- Ute Lid locking mechanism should be lubricated (Graphite Powder) regularly & lock covers used for weather protection
- The rear tailgate protection tape must be replaced when required to minimise paint scuffing caused by the canopy.
- Maximum recommended Flexirack loading is 150kg over both bars (Smooth Sports models excluded). Do not over tighten adjuster bolt at the base plate
Flexiglass warrants to the original purchaser of this product inclusive of paint application and accessories for a period of 12 months from the original date of purchase any component found by Flexiglass or it's authorised agents to be defective. The said defective part(s) will be replaced or repaired without charge for parts or labour.
Flexiglass provides a lifetime structural warranty on the fibreglass canopy shell to the original owner (5 years on smooth sports models).
Warranty does not apply to the following categories
Any component failure or defect caused by:
- Abnormal or extreme off-road usage.
- Misuse
- Abuse
- Negligence
- Accidental damage
- Modification to the product or its components
- Removal or defacing of the product serial number.
- Repossession under financing agreement.
- Lack of regular servicing as stated on the maintenance list.
- Gel coat cracking, is a characteristic of fibreglass and does not constitute a structural defect, therefore is not warrantable.
- Using a Ute Liner in some utility vehicles can cause paintwork scuffing.
- Paint scuffing to vehicle caused by a canopy is not warrantable.
- Driving with a windoor, tradesman or rear door in an open position.
- Whilst all our products are designed to be weather protected under normal conditions and use. Water ingress may be evident during any of the following conditions.
- Vehicle being washed either automated or by hand held wand.
- Vehicle being washed with a high pressure cleaner or garden hose set on high.
- Abnormally high rainfall or severe weather conditions i.e. Storms, etc
- Water ingress may be evidenced on Tray Top Canopy Combinations due to the Construction of the fitted Tray Body.
- Fuses and lights globes
Note: This warranty does not exclude cover extended under the Trade Practices Act.
