Service and Maintenance Recommendations

The following items need to be attended to on a regular basis. More frequent service in severe off-road conditions.

1. Ensure mounting bolts always remain tight.
2. Check regularly that screws holding down windows and doors are tight.
3. Lubricate lock and key recess on rear and side doors.
4. Abrasive compounds are not recommended for polishing surfaces of painted products: use only wax polish if required.
5. Clean door rubbers on canopy tailgate assembly and lightly coat with silicone spray.
6. Ute Lid locking mechanism should be lubricated regularly.
7. The rear tailgate protection tape must be replaced when required to minimise paint scuffing caused by the canopy.
8. Maximum recommended Flexirack loading is 150kg over both bars (Smooth Sports models excluded). Do not over tighten adjuster bolt at the base plate.

Flexiglass warrants to the original purchaser of this product inclusive of paint application and accessories for a period of 12 months from the original date of purchase any component found by Flexiglass or its authorised agents to be defective. The said defective part(s) will be replaced or repaired without charge for parts or labour.

Flexiglass provides a lifetime structural warranty on the textured and Premier fibreglass canopy shells to the original owner and a 12 month warranty on all other fibreglass canopy and lid shells including the FlexiSport canopy.

Warranty does not apply to the following categories:

Any component failure or defect caused by:

1. Abnormal or extreme off-road usage.
2. Abuse
3. Accidental damage
4. Removal or defacing of the product serial number.
5. Lack of regular servicing as stated on the maintenance list.
6. Using a Ute Liner in some utility vehicles can cause paintwork scuffing.
7. Driving with a windoor, tradesman or rear door in an open position.
8. Gel coat cracking, is a characteristic of fibreglass and does not constitute a structural defect, therefore is not warrantable.
9. Misuse
10. Negligence
11. Repossession under financing agreement.
12. Modification to the product or its components.
13. Fuses and light globes
14. Paint scuffing to vehicle caused by a canopy is not warrantable.
15. Water ingress may be evidenced on Tray Top Canopy Combinations, Tradesman’s doors and during high pressure water cleaning or car wash booths.

Note: This warranty does not exclude cover extended under the Trade Practices Act.
